To say that Boris loves having his cheeks rubbed is an understatement. In fact, he never tires of it; come give it a try. Boris doesn't mind at all if you continue petting the rest of his body as well and he really loves being brushed. He especially loves being held in your arms on top of your chest with his head facing yours so he can give you loving licks and a mini bath on your chin. Boris in an all-black, neutered male of about 4 years of age. He loves to play and can stand on his hind legs like a kitten for a long time. Boris is solid muscle and probably was an outdoor adventurer since he arrived as a stray. He looks big, gruff and mean but he's a powder-puff underneath his scrappy exterior. He loves people attention, rubs, brushings and lap time, and of course, face time giving you his approving licks. He's also developed a close and specially bonded relationship with his present roommate, Rattler. They hang out together all the time, share beds, and even groom each other. They are really quite good pals and must be adopted together, and for a special reduced fee. Please NO dogs for the Boris household. Boris may have been overlooked because of his FIV+ status but he is a super fantastic cat. He would do well in most any household; with adults and kids alike. Boris would be happy to be out of the shelter and to live a long live in a real home along with his buddy, Rattler. He needs to be the only cat in the household or to live with other FIV+ cats, like Rattler. Also, he needs to be an indoor cat to prevent the possible spread of the virus to other cats.
